Hey There!

I'm Nick Palumbo. I'm a husband, a proud pet parent, and a Savannahian.

Throughout my life, I've dedicated myself to the principle of doing whatever you can to make the world a better place. I am ready to serve our community again and my priority as your 4th District Representative is to always put your needs first. Our residents deserve safe, strong, and beautiful communities and I would be honored to lead our District Fourward.

Nick started his very first paid job serving his community as a junior camp counselor for the local YMCA for $2.00 an hour. It’s there he learned how valuable and rewarding it can be to give back to your community, a quality that’s followed him in a life of service.

After graduating from the University of South Alabama, Nick was honored to serve in our Nation’s Capital protecting some of our Country’s most treasured places as an Officer in the US Park Police - the oldest uniformed Federal law enforcement agency in the United States.

From there, Nick joined the US Foreign Service and became a Special Agent in the Diplomatic Security Service, serving in many capacities for our Country including overseas as the Agent-in-Charge of a protection detail in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.

Nick came to Savannah, Georgia and completed his Master’s Degree in Teaching from Armstrong State University where he taught Economics, Government, and US History while he grew the family business.

Kristen and Nick launched their own family owned and operated business in 2013 as a way to serve the needs of our community. It was there that he formed a strong bond and love for our City, our environment, and its people.

In 2017, Nick was elected to serve as the volunteer President of the Ardsley Park/Chatham Crescent Neighborhood Association. He led the Association in  several pioneering efforts including Ardsley in Motion as well as the creation of Savannah’s first Conservation District.

Savannah's Conservation Districts would serve as a model for celebrating and protecting neighborhoods and expand to historic Carver Village and Parkside. Ardsley in Motion became a springboard to Citywide mobility investments to fix aging infrastructure and a groundbreaking toolkit for communities throughout Savannah to mobilize City resources.
